Pop Standards vocalist, Vandana Bali (, combines her passions for music and giving back to her community at “Concert for A Cause” benefit for the American Cancer Society. Bali created this show to honor her idol, Olivia Newton-John, and raise awareness and funds to support the American Cancer Society’s (ACS) important research and the incredible assistance they provide to those battling cancer. American Cancer Society staff will be on site to provide information about prevention, when to get screenings, how to get support and more. Bali said “Olivia has influenced me more as a singer than any other artist. I grew up singing her country classics and followed her music styles ever since. Her grace, kindness, gratitude and beautiful personality have strongly influenced my desire to create and share positive songs about love, strength, hope and determination.” The show will feature songs made famous by Olivia Newton-John, Idina Menzel, Barbra Streisand, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion and more. Bali will donate twenty percent of tickets sales to the American Cancer Society. She will be accompanied on piano by San Francisco native Alan Choy.
