The Great Grape Study on Thursday, March 9 is PINOT NOIR. Considered by many to be the world's greatest wine grape, Pinot Noir combines perfume, intensity, richness, complexity and (the great ones) longevity. If you made us pick just one grape to drink the rest of our lives, I guess it'd have to be Pinot Noir. We'll pour you five Pinot Noirs. Burgundy, California and Oregon are on the docket. Pinot Noir Great Grape Study tasting fee is $20. Wines poured on sale for 10% discount during the tasting. Hope you can make it...you'll be glad you did. This is a drop-in tasting. Come by anytime from 5 to 8 for this tasting. Reservation not necessary. Here's the Great Pinot Noir line-up: Domaine MASSE Givry "En Veau" 1er Cru 2014 $28 DAVID RENAUD Irancy Bourgogne 2014 $27 BRICK HOUSE Pinot Noir "Select" Ribbon Ridge, Willamette Valley 2014 $38 HARMONIQUE Pinot Noir "The Noble One" Anderson Valley 2010 $32 GROS VENTRE Pinot Noir "First Born" Sonoma Coast 2013 $60
