The Alpha Rhythm Kings had so much fun the first time, they had to revisit the Woodchopper's Ball in San Francisco! Come out for a great night of dancing and live music! THE ALPHA RHYTHM KINGS: Rob Dehlinger, composer, performer, and recording artist, leads this swingin' group of top musicians with his blazing trumpet and entertaining vocal stylings. Specializing in swing, vintage lounge, boogie woogie, and jump blues, the Alpha Rhythm Kings bring an energetic, jazzy vibe which is 100% fun and infectious! THE WOODCHOPPER'S BALL: The Woodchopper's Ball, named after the classic 1939 swing tune by the Woody Herman Orchestra (and their biggest hit!), is a weekly Tuesday swing dance event held at the beautiful historic Verdi Club in San Francisco. * Live Music Dance Party, 9:00-11:30pm, with a different band each week! $10 admission (monthly class students FREE), all ages. Includes a Basic Drop-in swing dance lesson (9:00-9:15pm), perfect for complete beginners! * January Beginning and Intermediate Lindy Hop and Balboa class series conclude tonight, 7:00-9:00pm. Single Monthly Class Drop-In: $20/person/week, all ages (enrollment includes admission to the Dance Party!). * New (4-week) February Lindy Hop and Balboa class series start Tuesday, February 6, 2018!
