Sonoma County Fair

The Sonoma County Fair is the Northbay’s largest summer event with more than 270,000 in attendance for 11 days of family fun, August 3 – August 13. Wine Country Horse Racing bursts out of the gates along with opening day of the Fair and runs August 3 – 6, August 10 – 13 and continues after the Fair August 18 - 20. Other highlights include our Community Concert Series FREE with admission, a spectacular new carnival, PRCA Rodeo, Destruction Derby, Monster Trucks, holiday themed activities, Lorikeet Encounter, Reptile Exhibit, High Diving Pirates of the Caribbean, livestock shows, comedy nights and so much more. The Hall of Flowers theme for 2017 is "Holidays in Bloom," and the Fair’s 2017 theme is "Holidaze at the Sonoma County Fair". Gates open daily 11:00 AM - 9:00 PM. Carnival opens at 3:00 PM on opening day, Thursday, August 3. Carnival opens daily at 11:00 AM, August 4 – August 13. Exhibit buildings open daily 11:00 AM - 10:00 PM. Hall of Flowers Exhibit will close at 8:00 PM on Sunday, August 13.
