With an intentional disregard for censorship, her work often explores key societal themes that shape or motivate us. With a penchant for symmetry and pattern work, Courtney's art melds harmony and balance with chaos and reality. Taylor Smith is an Oakland-based artist with a meticulous appreciation for sweating the details. Her pieces are often crafted through intricate pattern and dot work, where she uses thoughtful precision to highlight meaningful themes across her work. Through several unique mediums, Taylor is enamored with bringing delightful form and function to the asymmetrical world around us.
