Sausalito Song Society Inaugural Concert

The Sausalito Song Society announces its exciting inaugural season! For all the lovers of song, from art song, to cabaret, a new organization entitled The Sausalito Song Society will begin its inaugural season on September 17, 2017 at 3pm at Christ Episcopal Church (70 Santa Rosa, Sausalito, Ca.) with a recital by the internationally renowned and Bay Area native, Baritone Christòpheren Nomura, accompanied by pianist Daniel Lockert. Mr. Nomura will sings songs by such noteworthy composers as Ravel, Mahler, Musto, Copland and Hundley, and Bolcom. Hailed as one of classical music’s “rising stars” the afternoon promises an array of songs styles from fun, to deeply moving, to transcendent, all with complete vocal mastery. The Sausalito Song society is proud to foster a love of art song and cabaret through innovative and original programming. Concerts throughout the season will include everything from song premieres to multi-media. Mr. Nomura will also present a master class for singers on Saturday, September 16 from 1-3 in the same location. Fee: A $20 donation at the door for both events.
