This spring, join two of the Bay Area’s most recognized and highly regarded performing arts organizations in a performance of a great 20th century choral masterpiece, Maurice Duruflé’s Requiem. Golden Gate Men's Chorus is joined for the first time by the Grammy award-winning San Francisco Girls Chorus in this musical tour de force. Enjoy a full program of the Duruflé Requiem, along with works featured by each chorus, including Philip Glass' Father Death Blues, Vytautas Miškinis’ And Death Shall Have no Dominion, Arvo Pärt's Peace Upon Jerusalem, Camille Saint-Saëns' Hymne au Printemps,Claude Debussy’s Invocation, Darius Milhaud's Devant sa main nue, and Michael McGlynn's Danny Boy.
