Mama's Soup: Mama's Soup is a funky, groovy, laid back RnB 5 piece from the Bay Area that features velvety vocals backed by a silky smooth bass, ambient synthesizer, and a crispy tight backbeat. As a brand new group that is taking the Bay Area by storm, they are determined to lift your spirits while keeping you on your toes with real music. They draw from musical geniuses such as Stevie Wonder, Beyonce, Michael Jackson, Snarky Puppy, Frank Ocean, Prince, Flying Lotus, Diplo, Erykah Badu, Hiatus Kaiyote, and many more! Boots and The Kats: Boots and the Kats is a funk and soul band that hails from the San Francisco Bay Area. Originally formed by guitarist Mark Ignatius and drummer Jon Farland after both had moved to the bay from Los Angeles and Boston, respectively. The soulful and funky original sound of the group is driven by the powerful voice of Azeeta Nikoui and has grown to include veteran bass player Lucas Goodbody and east bay's own Andrew Dixon on saxophone. Lil' Elephant: Lil' Elephant is an unconventional Oakland ensemble bringing original tunes to stages of all sizes throughout the Bay Area. A labor of love several years in the making, this band of four motley miscreants fuses funk, rock, roll, rap, and classical influences into an exceptional and eclectic musical shmorgasboard. Major influences include The Doors, Funkadelic, In Flames, and The Red Hot Chili Peppers. You'll find your feet tapping and your hips swaying before you know it.
