On the third Thursday of each month, stay out late at the Museum of Craft and Design and collaborate with artists and makers, explore unique themes and re-think materials through creative design projects. This month, Bay Area author and designer Carissa Potter visits the museum for September’s Artist Happy Hour and to discuss the creation of her new book, “It’s OK to Feel Things Deeply.” Following her presentation, Carissa will lead a thank you note workshop featuring custom illustrated postcards from her book. Arrive early to enjoy a free glass of wine while exploring the exhibitions and explore various artistic themes and techniques via in-gallery activities.
