Fresh off playing for the Dixie Chicks on their World Tour, Ginty is hitting the road with his own band supporting his third release, Rockers, on the American Showplace Music label. Released in February, it has already charted well on the Billboard, Living Blues, Roots Music Report and Sirius/XM Charts. He's spent years as an in-demand sideman, playing keys with legends such as Santana, Jewel, Citzen Cope, Charlie Mars and many more. John was a founding member of Robert Randolph & the Family Band, where he received two Grammy nominations. In the past few years, Ginty has solidified himself as a solo artist. His first album, Bad News Travels, features A-List artists such as Warren Haynes (Gov't Mule), Albert Castiglia and Neal Casal. His follow up, No Filter was named RMR's #1 Blues/Rock album of 2015 featuring a ground breaking performance by hip hop legend, Redman. His albums receive regular air play on Sirius/XM as well as 300 FM radio stations. With his third release expect to hear more of John Ginty's name in Best-Of circles - he's a rising star. "For over a decade now I've witnessed John Ginty's keyboard wizardry in live shows. His command of the B3 is so extraordinary that it is not hyperbolic to suggest that he is one of today's best players on that instrument." Elmore Magazine "Ginty did more than just make a keyboard record by a keyboard guy; he's made a well-rounded roots rock record that's of the caliber of Randolph, The Black Keys or the Tedeschi-Trucks Band."
