The sultry singer takes the stage at the Hotel Rex in San Francisco's Union Square for a whirlwind evening of cabaret at its finest. Hurricane Grace features a storm of original songs, stories, and some Stevie Wonder presented by two incredible musical forces. You are invited to breeze into the back room for a dynamic ride! ABOUT THE PERFORMERS Bay Area Native GRACE RENAUD is a vocalist, keyboardist, conductor and composer. Her recent directorial/pianist credits include "Into the Woods" (SF State University), "Westside Story" (Pacifica Spindrift Players), "Fat Tuesday" (Shelton Theater) and "Ladybug Girl and Bumblebee Boy" (Bay Area Children's Theater). She is the Music Director for the Unitarian Universalists of San Mateo, pianist for Shari Carlson Studio San Francisco/Hollywood, and teaches voice and piano privately. Grace has four marvelous and musical children who sing in tune! In all areas, Grace brings a contagious enthusiasm for life. Somewhere along the way to becoming a concert pianist, STEPHANIE LYNNE SMITH fell in love with singers and the theater, and discovered her passion for promoting composers and new compositions. She served as Artistic Director and Conductor for the Lesbian/Gay Chorus of San Francisco, commissioning an opera, a musical and countless works for chorus, was Cantor and Worship Designer for Grace Cathedral in San Francisco, and toured with Bugs Bunny at the Symphony as pianist/slide guitarist, performing with the New York Philharmonic in Avery Fisher Hall and the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl. Training under performance coach Shari Carlson (San Francisco/Hollywood) since 1999, Stephanie tours as concert pianist for Broadway veteran Franc D'Ambrosio ("Phantom of the Opera"/"Godfather III"), produces "Miss Smith" master classes and performances, and works tirelessly to promote new works. Doors open at 7pm for Cocktails & Dining Show at 8pm
