Started on the spectacular beach of Freshwater Beach, Australia, the Freshflix Film Festival showcases independent cinema from the brightest up-and-coming international talents, including Finland, Russia and the UK. Vijay's distrust is slowly broken down as Chris befriends him. Over the course of the night Chris experiences some of Vijay's nightly troubles, and Vijay learns to see the city in a new light. JOURNEY: Alone in space, an astronaut drifts through the empty void. After finding another astronaut in the same predicament, she gives him a polaroid image of the Earth. They then team up to go on an epic journey across the universe to return to their planet. Will these star-crossed lovers find home? SLINGHSOT: SLINGSHOT is an amusing analogy on modern love through the eyes of one of its latest victims.
