Ensemble ARI with CALEXTONE

Ensemble ARI with early music ensemble Calextone! Calextone uses recorders, hammered dulcimer, harp, douçaine, psaltery and other periodic instruments and play 15th century european music. When collaborating with early music ensemble, the ARI members have to adjust the historical performance practice, tuning and the sound color. This challenge will enrich the audience’s experience. The concert will start and end with the all time favorite Brahms, who is the true symbol of traditionalist and futurist. Ensemble Ari is a group of musicians in the Bay Area who wants to share this quality with the community. Ensemble ARI was featured at UC Berkeley Noon Concert, San Francisco Old First Concert Series, St.Mary’s College Concert Series, Phos Concert Series and many more.
