A Taste of the Soil with Chef Myint of The Perennial and Farmer Tucker Taylor (aka Instagram star Farmer T)

Chefs know that the best tasting food comes from healthy soil. But what exactly does that mean? Come taste, smell, feel, and learn about healthy soil. And learn the optimistic and delicious story of how farming is our best hope for reversing climate change!

Join Chef Anthony Myint and Farmer Tucker Taylor for a special demonstration and complimentary soil and menu tasting!

Free admission but space is limited! The demonstration will run at 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. Approximate time of each demonstration is 30 minutes.

Join us for a special evening with Alice Waters and Bob Cannard.

Enjoy a reception with hors d’oeuvres prepared by CIA chefs paired with Jackson Family Wines followed by a presentation of Conversations at Copia featuring Alice Waters, founder and owner of Chez Panisse Restaurant in Berkeley, and Bob Cannard, organic farmer and founder of Green String Farm. “Dirt to Dish” will be moderated by Brock Dolman of the Occidental Arts & Ecology Center.

The discussion will be followed by a book signing and meet-and-greet with Alice Waters to celebrate her new memoir Coming to my Senses.
