Brewbies 2nd Annual Festival at Faction Brewing

April 22, 2017
1:00 pm

The Brewbies(R) Festival craft beer festival is back! Hosted by Faction Brewing, the festival brings together icons of the craft brewing industry to showcase their rare, small-batch beers with beer enthusiasts looking to sample unique festival brews. Brewbies benefits The Keep A Breast Foundation (KAB), an organization dedicated to empowering young people around the world with breast health education and support. 100% of the proceeds go directly to KAB's Check Yourself program that educates young people about the importance of early detection and breast cancer prevention. Brewbies will feature over 44 notable craft breweries, including Automatic Brewing Co., Bagby Beer, Boneyard Beer, Noble Ale Works, Faction Brewing Co., Highland Park Brewing, Magnolia Pub, Russian River Brewing, Sante Adairius Brewing Co., and Three Weavers, among other esteemed brands. Music and Brewbies go together and this year the musical guest is singer, songwriter, Malcolm Williams who performs as Family Thief. "Bleeding his personal anecdotes of love, loss, hope, and hopelessness onto a backdrop of acoustic and pop intricacies, Family Thief has an impeccable knack for pulling at your heartstrings while keeping you on the beat." DJ Jay Howell will be spinning in between sets. Amidst event-exclusive pink brews and tasty fare, Brewbies will raffle off world famous Keep A Breast cast sculptures and fine art from international and regional artists including Shepard Fairey, Michael C. Hsiung, Jay Howell, Mike Giant, Rich Jacobs, and Jen Props. KAB will also hold multiple raffles featuring prizes from local and regional brands like San Francisco-based messenger bike bag company, Chrome and skateboard company, Deluxe Distribution. Since it's inception 17 years ago, Keep A Breast has been dedicated to connecting with young people on their own turf--places like music festivals and action sports events--to encourage them to participate and learn about breast health.\r\n\r\nPresented by The Keep A Breast Foundation
