SAN FRANCISCO, CA, March 9 & 10, 2018 — Bond will focus on the realities of running your creative practice as a business on the internet. We’ll cover everything from establishing a community to building a sustainable career using crowdfunding and community patronage. Let’s trade stories, learn from one another, and figure it out together.

Conference (March 9th)

The Bond conference will take place at the historic Gray Area Grand Theatre (2665 Mission St.).

We will be featuring an eclectic lineup of speakers who all have a unique perspective on building communities and embracing your passions. Our featured speakers include Jamie Wilkinson (Kickstarter), Erica Baker (Patreon), Austin Kleon (writer), Indhira Rojas (Anxy Magazine), Jesse Thorn (Maximum Fun), Gary Chou (Orbital), and Kat Blaque (vlogger & illustrator). More announcements to be posted on the official website leading up to the event.

Office Hours (March 10th)

Our office hours will take place at the BackerKit headquarters (1265 Folsom St.) to a limited audience. Join the BackerKit team along with a variety of knowledgeable experts and experienced independent creators for a day of intimate conversation and advice. Guests include Joel Bush (Amplifier), Karlee Esmailli (Blackbox), Nathan Peretic (Cotton Bureau), Michelle Sharp (Cotton Bureau), and Katie Lane (Work Made For Hire) with more posted on the official website.
