Barbara Tapp: 31 Days in West Berkeley
Plein air watercolor urbanscapes capture a moment in time in Berkeley's Oceanview District.
For 31 days straight Barbara Tapp painted plein air in the Flatlands of Berkeley. What began as a challenge by the Strada Easel Company grew into an extraordinary eye opening journey. She became immersed and accepted in a location she had driven through for 30 years. Daily stories emerged and the collection began to capture the changes that are occurring in this semi-industrial mixed use landscape. 34 watercolors will be included in the exhibition. A full-color catalogue will be available for sale.
