A chill Sunday with Indianna Hale & Madeline Tasquin

June 25, 2017
8:00 pm

Sunday June 25th Seaweed Sway Presents Indianna Hale Madeline Tasquin At Amnesia 853 Valencia St. Singing in English and French, Canadian-Californian songcrafter Madeline Tasquin weaves nimbly from jazz folk to odd-meter soul to psych-pop ballad to through-composed storysong, accompanying herself on guitar, keys and ukulele and doing it all with an irresistible stage presence. With influences ranging from Joanna Newsom to Mr.Bungle to Animal Collective to Chopin, its no surprise that her songs take deliciously unexpected rhythmic and harmonic twists and turns, but she does without leaving anyone in the room behind. Madeline is only back in town for a short time, between recording her 2nd EP and taking clown classes in Montreal this past winter, and heading out on tour for the summer with her vocal trio, so don't miss the chance to catch her show while she's in town. Check out Madeline's album "Another Trip Around The Sun" here - Indianna Hale lives in a wee cottage on the south side of Bernal Hill in San Francisco with three friends. One of them is a cat. Born and raised in California, Indianna talks like she was raised in Minnesota, sings like a mermaid and plays guitar like a cowpoke. Indianna swims laps in the very same pool where the Everly Brothers perfected their dives and Patsy Cline won the 100-meter swim race. Look out for her band of South-of-Bernal amigos who will always drink just the right amount of beer to give her country tunes that crisp and authentic flavor your sweet little heart is craving. Check out her self titled album and latest release -
